The table below shows the amount of electricity consumed by Jetmill lines with different capacities. Notice that the the number also includes the power consumed by Air compressor which is a part of the line providing needed compressed air.

This product includes a complete set of micronized powder production line including a Jetmill with a rotating classifier, cyclone separator, baghouse and a Centrifugal fan. Note that needed air compressor indicated in table above with the brand name shall be provided by costumers.

Introducing Jetmill

Jetmill is a solution to achieve micronized powder. Jetmill crushes material using compressed air. The highly compressed air is injected into to the main body through special air nozzles with extreme velocities. This make material collide with each other with high collision impact making them fractured and reduce their sizes.

How size reduced particles separated from larger ones ?

In fact a special rotor classifier place on top of the mill is responsible for classification of the material being grinded inside the mill. The rotor with special vertical or tangential blades rotates. The faster the rotation is the finer the final product escaping the mill is. As we can control the speed of the rotor using PLC , we can determine the particle size of the final product too.

Producing micronized powder

There are a few number of milling technologies in the industry for size reduction depending on the characteristics and the specification of the final product. Jetmill is one of these mills. Because of it’s unique way of milling materials, it’s a good choice for milling hard and abrasive materials also with lower power consumption compared to others.

Micronized powder has a vast application in the industry. Some processes require smaller size of materials to produce higher quality products. For pigments, smaller particle means wider color spectrum resulting in better and higher quality product.

Use of micronized powder in pharmaceutical

Solvability of active ingredients of the drugs  is one the challenges in this industry, the smaller particle size the higher solvability rate. Therefore, micronizing can be a good solution for this challenge. Also in inhaler drugs, the size of the active ingredients has direct effect on how deep they can penetrated into the longs and as result can be more effective.

Overall there are 5 type of jetmills,1 type is in laboratory scales and also the smallest, the other for types are in industrial scale. In price table you can see how much they cost approximately.

for lab-sclae jetmill you need a room with 3 meter lenght and 2 meter wide also 3 meters height. For other 4 industrial types you need a room starting from 7 meter length,3 meter wide and 5 meter height.

The smaller the input material the higher the grinding efficiency. But any size below 3mm can be fed into the mill.

Jetmill can grind abrasive and dry material down to 1 micron. But as the final product is set to be finer, the tonnage will be reduced, the tonnage can be increased exponentially.

this depends on how fine the final product is but the largest one can produce 1.5 ton per hour. This tonnage is subject to the particle size of the final product and also the size of it when it’s being fed.

It takes us 60-75 days to fabricated one complete line of jetmill.

60% percent when the contraction is signed and 40% when the product is ready to ship.
